PASSION PROJECTS, LIFE STUFF, BITS OF WRITING

FOR FOX LEGS

My 11 year old son has autism. Words don’t come easy to him and stringing them together is quite a task! He’s found his own quirky way to interact with words. Awkwardly combined words, completely random phrases or abrupt statements. His language is not perfectly constructed and doesn’t always make sense. Since I’ve been trying to make a living working in the communications industry, this book is a humble attempt to help him get his point across. To fellow kids primarily. His phrases, my interpretation & insights, some sketches, a vague design strategy - all brought to life by two talented underrepresented artists.

WOWMUM

I co-founded a data-rich, location-based app to help parents find family friendly places around them. So, whether they're looking for buggy-friendly cafés, emergency diaper changing, soft-padded play areas for toddlers, WowMum's had it covered.

I ran all of our Marketing & Business Development, setting KPIs, building and implementing our go-to-market strategy, our innovation funnel, running the crowdfunding campaign and pitching to investors for Series A.

We launched at the celebrated WIRED tech conference. And got the attention of BBC Radio, Guardian and London Evening Standard, hitting 50,000 downloads in 18 months.

A big nod to forward thinking along with the passion & commitment to make an idea, a tangible product.
